Details

We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Governance Engineer to join our team. The Cloud Governance Engineer will be responsible for managing AWS accounts with AWS Control Tower, access management, AWS cost monitoring, account onboarding and offboarding.

The ideal candidate will also have technical skills in programming on Python/Golang and Terraform and a strong understanding of cloud cost management.

Apart from ensuring compliance, security, and cost optimization of our cloud infrastructure, the candidate will be responsible to work closely with the Security team and the Cloud Business Analyst on day to day basis.

Hence, we are looking for an engineer with some development background, as the job involves automating most of the manually handled tasks for both finance and AWS account management.

You’ll help drive digital innovation by:

• Manage AWS accounts with Control Tower to ensure compliance with security policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements

• Implement and maintain access management and automation policies for AWS accounts

• Monitor AWS costs and implement cost-saving measures where applicable

• Automate and maintain account onboarding and offboarding processes

• Develop and maintain tools for monitoring, reporting, and analysis of cloud governance data

• Collaborate with the Security team to implement and maintain security controls and monitor for security threats

• Work closely with the Cloud Business Analyst to monitor and optimize cloud spending and utilization

• Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders on cloud governance best practices

• Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in cloud governance

You’re the innovator we need if:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience in cloud governance, AWS account management, and automation

• Experience with programming languages such as Python and Golang

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform

• Strong understanding of finance and budgeting

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
